01 / HOW I CAN HELP

Start with the place.
Build around your brief.

For visiting producers, creative teams and brands considering Kumamoto or Aso. Choose a specific piece of support, or discuss a small photo and video shoot.

01

Location research & scouting

Turn visual references into a shortlist of places to investigate. Discuss a scouting visit, reference photographs and practical notes on access, light and movement between locations.

Agree the area, questions and scout deliverables before work starts.

02

Local production support

Develop a manageable location plan and identify local questions that need answering. Discuss location inquiries and coordination needs for your visiting team.

Additional crew, interpreting, transport and permission work require separate confirmation.

03

Photography & video

Commission portraits, documentary-style photographs or a compact video shoot. Agree the story, shooting approach, editing needs and delivery format around your intended use.

Equipment, shot list, usage rights and delivery schedule are scoped for each project.

A personal point of contact. Ren organizes YOLO; community membership is not a bookable crew roster. Collaborators and specialist services are only included when individually confirmed.

02 / THE REGION

A different scale
of Japan.

Kumamoto is in Kyushu, southern Japan. Aso’s caldera landscapes and grasslands offer a different visual setting from the city. Choose a compact area first; the route should serve the images.

Kumamoto

A city base for discussing your project, local context and a shoot plan. Share your arrival point, accommodation area and transport arrangements so the working day can be planned realistically.

Aso

Consider the caldera, grassland settings and viewpoints as research starting points. Weather, access and the needs of local land managers can change the plan. Public access does not establish filming permission.

03 / SELECTED WORK & CONTEXT

04 / BEFORE WE COMMIT

A clear brief.
A realistic plan.

  1. Share the idea

Send references, preferred dates, locations, crew size and the support you need. Include your budget range and currency, if known.

  3. Agree the scope

Set deliverables, usage, schedule, costs and payment arrangements in writing before booking or starting work.

Useful to know

How far ahead should I inquire?

Field dates are arranged in advance around existing weekday commitments. Please include alternative dates. Availability and response times vary; immediate or round-the-clock field coverage is not offered.

Can I send an English brief?

You can start with a written brief in English. We will confirm communication and on-set language needs during planning. Fluent English support or interpreting is not included or guaranteed; any interpreter needs separate arrangements.

Are permits, specialist crew or transport included?

They are not included by default. Location access, permission responsibilities, insurance requirements, transport, crew and equipment must be confirmed for the specific project. No location or drone operation is represented as pre-approved.

What will the project cost?

Costs depend on the agreed scope, dates, travel, deliverables and intended use. Share a budget range and your preferred currency in the first brief. Quote currency and payment terms need confirmation; there is no fixed-price package on this page.

Can I license existing footage?

There is no rights-cleared footage catalog offered here. You may describe a footage need as an inquiry, but availability and all relevant rights would need to be checked before any licensing offer.
